Our Governors
Governors are like a Board of Directors who decide how the school is run. They meet at least once a term. One of their functions is to report annually to parents on the school year via a written report called the School Profile.
School governors have a wide range of responsibilities. They help to raise the standards of pupil achievement and plan the school's future direction. Governors are also accountable for the performance of the school to parents and the wider community.

Governing bodies make their decisions based on the advice of committees that deal with specific issues, such as the school's curriculum, premises or finances. If you become a governor, you will probably be asked to serve on a committee where you have an interest or can make a contribution.
